Job summary

Parker Aerospace’s Exotic Metals Forming Division in Kent, WA seeks a Furnace Operator (Aerospace) on swing shift. You will prepare parts, monitor heat cycles, and maintain furnace systems while ensuring safety and accuracy. Hours: 2:30pm–1:00am, Monday through Thursday; may train on day shift for 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for loading into furnace, including wiping and final cleaning as necessary.
• Manufacturing load thermocouples.
• Ensure proper heat treat cycle following requirements for heat, vacuum, time and cooling rate.
• Monitor leak rate and progress of load during cycle.
• Maintain furnace systems and perform weekly leak rate testing.
• Document manufacturing planning and timecard entries clearly and accurately.
