Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. Eastlake is seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to support our casting operations. You will monitor and adjust furnace equipment, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and maintain clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced foundry.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read work orders, operate hand tools, and work in extreme heat. CPP offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous foundry experience desired.
• Ability to read and write, follow instructions and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
• Load molds into pre-heat ovens and prepare furnaces for casting.
• Pour and regulate molten metal into molds; monitor gauges and equipment.
• Skim slag, collect scrap, and maintain a clean work area.
• Record readings and report malfunctions to supervision.
