You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve non-conformances and maintain compliant documentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aerospace/defense FAIs, deep GD&T knowledge, and hands-on experience with composites, machined parts, sheet metal, and avionics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of aerospace/defense FAIs experience.
  • Hands-on manufacturing across composites, machined parts, sheet metal, avionics.
  • Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5).
  • Understanding of AP, QPL, ASL concepts.
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Review, audit and approve FAIs per AS9102 standards.
  • Review drawings, certificates, and documentation for FAIs.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specs, PO, certifications, and ASLs.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability from customer data to supplier evidence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve non-conformances.
  • Provide guidance on FAI processes and best practices.
  • Prepare inspection reports and non-conformance reports as required.
  • Liaise with customer quality and operations teams.
