Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced depot technician to perform depot level repairs, modifications, and refurbishments of M-TADS/M-PNVS components, reading drawings, using precision tools, and ensuring compliance with engineering specs.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers), ability to work with hazardous materials, and a readiness to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge in repairs of electro-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies.
• Knowledge of basic avionics and electronics principles.
• Experience with CCA component rework and repair.
• Knowledge of trouble-shooting and fault isolation of components using general purpose and/or automated test equipment.
• Knowledge of the operation of general purpose and/or automated test equipment.
• Knowledge of the interpretation of engineering drawings, schematics, and test and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications and industry processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements.
• Ability to understand policies and procedures for the use and control of Government property.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability to mix and weigh chemicals.
• Ability to properly safety wire assemblies and connectors.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Ability to obtain a D.O.D. security clearance (SECRET)

Responsibilities

• Performs depot level repairs, modifications, refurbishments of M-TADS/M-PNVS components.
• Performs fault isolation and testing with oscilloscope, meters, analyzers.
• Reads engineering drawings and applies repair procedures.
• Sets up milling machine and drill press for component repair.
• Documents work in maintenance data systems IAW Apache Fire Control processes and procedures.
• Provides technical feedback on electro-mechanical and electro-optical components to promote reliability improvements.
• Works with hazardous materials and chemicals, utilizing PPE as required.
• Performs limited supply duties (load/unload trucks), operates overhead hoists.
