Job summary

Magellan Aerospace is seeking a dedicated porter to maintain cleanliness and organization across the West Babylon facility. You will support daily operations by performing general custodial duties on the shop floor, offices, restrooms, and common areas while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role offers hours Monday–Friday with two shift options (6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and a pay range of $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must have reliable transportation to West Babylon facility.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop floor, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Operate the T600 Scrubber Machine to clean production and warehouse floors.
• Operate floor waxing equipment to keep floors clean and polished.
• Report safety hazards or equipment concerns to supervisor.
