Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair across a wide range of factory equipment in Hawthorne. The role emphasizes systematic problem-solving, reading schematics, and ensuring assets run reliably.

Candidates should have 3+ years in manufacturing, hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems, and a commitment to safety. Shifts include first and second, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 3+ years of experience with repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all critical assets to ensure proper operating condition.
• Provide maintenance on ovens, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems down to component level.
• Read and utilize mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
