Job summary

Simmonds Precision is seeking an Environmental Qualification Engineer to support qualification, testing, and production of aerospace products. You will plan and execute environmental tests, troubleshoot complex hardware, and drive root-cause corrective actions across Engineering, Operations, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics (STEM) or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support environmental qualification testing for aerospace products, components, and systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot environmental qualification, ESS, and HASS testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, and system-level issues to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Diagnose test setups, instrumentation, fixtures, and equipment to resolve failures and anomalies.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan and execute qualification activities, including testing prep, execution, data review, and issue resolution.
