Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Engineering Tech II to provide technical leadership for a team of support specialists. You will oversee testing, soldering, and product evaluation with engineering collaboration to address technical challenges.

The role reports to the Sr Engineering Manager and is an onsite position at the Phoenix Deer Valley location, demanding hands-on expertise and leadership for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or related role within aerospace or mechanical systems.
• Strong technical expertise in aerospace mechanical systems and components, with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of technicians to achieve operational excellence.
• Proficiency with engineering tools and software relevant to aerospace, including CAD systems and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of support specialists.
• Set up/tear down testing stations, work with Engineering Team to evaluate product.
• Comfortable soldering wires, SMT or thru components to PCB boards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot systems and electronic modules to the component level.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve support efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify training and development needs for support specialists and facilitate skill enhancement.
