Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coach students on aerospace systems design, propulsion, aerodynamics, flight mechanics and controls, avionics, and manufacturing.
• Review resumes and cover letters, refine LinkedIn profiles, and prepare candidates for behavioral and technical interviews.
• Provide guidance on networking strategy and salary negotiation.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

This role includes helping students strengthen their technical foundation across aerospace systems design, propulsion and aerodynamics, flight mechanics and controls, avionics and embedded systems, spacecraft engineering, and aerospace manufacturing and materials. Coaches also support career development by reviewing resumes and cover letters, refining LinkedIn profiles, and preparing students for both behavioral and technical interviews, along with guidance on networking strategy and salary negotiation as they work to land roles in the field. Ideal candidates have significant hands‑on experience in aerospace engineering (industry, research, or government), prior mentoring or teaching experience, and a clear, structured approach to explaining complex technical concepts and career strategy alike.
