Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join our defense-focused R&D team. You will evaluate new technologies, perform threat analyses, and improve the design of advanced missile systems. You’ll work with DoD/IC clients and a broad team of engineers and scientists to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires strong aero ballistic GNC and estimation theory experience, plus hands-on Python coding. Security clearances and collaboration with customers are integral to the work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in aero ballistic guidance navigation and control analysis
• 4+ years of experience with object estimation theories
• 4+ years of experience with EO and IR modeling and simulation of advanced weapons systems
• 2+ years of experience with Python coding

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies and perform threat analysis.
• Design and improve defense systems and tools.
• Collaborate with DoD/IC teams and clients to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to the direction of solutions by evaluating, analyzing and designing tools for analytical, defense and engineering teams.
