Job summary

Ontic is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician for its Creedmoor, North Carolina site. The role involves troubleshooting, building, and repairing electronic boards, using soldering and test equipment, and reading schematics under a microscope. Onsite work with a fast-paced environment requires strong organization and communication skills.

Qualified candidates typically hold an A.S. in Electronics or related field, with knowledge of DMMs, oscilloscopes, and related tools.

Qualifications

• A.S. in Electronics or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of electronic test equipment, DMM, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Mechanical aptitude and soldering skills required

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, build, and repair (including replacing components on boards) a variety of electrical products in an expeditious manner.
• To include the use of soldering and test equipment
• Ability to read schematics and perform soldering under a microscope
• Ability to use multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
• Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed
• Has the ability to work in fast paced environment and has high accountability
