Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Test Technician for its operations center in Creedmoor, Texas. In this role, you will perform tests and inspections on electro-mechanical products while working closely with engineering for troubleshooting and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in electronics, at least 2 years of related experience and proficiency with various test equipment. Competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including 401(k) and medical plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an electro-mechanical or electronic test environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and assist in writing test procedures.
• Proficient in using test, inspection, and calibration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform test and inspection of electro-mechanical product.
• Set up and utilize test equipment.
• Assist engineering in troubleshooting and repair of non-conforming units.

Skills

Troubleshooting from schematics

Proficiency in test equipment

Solid knowledge of machining principles

Hands-on manufacturing experience

MS Office proficiency

Education

Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent military training
