Job summary

Gulfstream seeks a summer aerospace engineering intern to apply academic concepts to real-world challenges in Environmental Control Systems and aircraft systems. You will assist in performance analyses, design reviews, and qualification testing, working closely with suppliers and engineers.

The role requires enrolled ME/AE students, on-site work in Savannah, GA, a 3.0+ GPA, and strong English communication skills. Duration is 10–12 weeks (summer).

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Full-time student available Summer 2027 in Savannah.
• GPA 3.0+ (unrounded) listed on resume.
• Must work on-site in Savannah, GA.
• Majors: Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom learning to aerospace engineering challenges.
• Support product development and production for Environmental Control Systems.
• Perform detailed system performance analyses.
• Support qualification and certification testing of components and aircraft systems.
• Work with suppliers to execute qualification testing.
• Review engineering designs and drawings.
• Develop compliance documentation for FAA regulations.
• Gain hands-on exposure to aircraft systems engineering and testing techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
