Job summary

Actalent is hiring an entry-level C# .NET Applications Engineer to develop and maintain desktop applications for unmanned aircraft systems. You will work with C++ and C#, build intuitive interfaces, and troubleshoot issues while collaborating with embedded and systems teams in a hybrid, onsite role in Bingen, WA.

The position emphasizes UI development, real-time data visualization, and software engineering best practices within aerospace.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# or C++ through coursework.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• 0-2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, capstone projects, etc.).
• Basic UI/UX experience.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, Sensor Data, Telemetry, and Real-Time Systems.
• Experience with Unit Testing and Integration Testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using C++ and C#.
• Create intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex telemetry and system data.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Collaborate with embedded, systems, and network engineers to integrate aircraft and sensor data.
