Job summary

Spirit Defense interns gain hands-on experience in material management and transportation for defense programs, working with mentors on real-world projects in Wichita, KS. You will support planning, movement, control, and delivery of materials, coordinating with production, suppliers, and program teams.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a four-year program, able to work full-time in Summer 2027, and may have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support material management and transportation functions for defense programs.
• Assist with material planning, transportation, warehousing, and logistics data analysis.
• Coordinate with production, suppliers, carriers, and program teams.
