Job summary

Peraton's PMO ASE is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer to support the development and fielding of advanced survivability systems for Army aviation. You will analyze sensor performance, countermeasure effectiveness, and system reliability using Python/MATLAB/R, and present findings through dashboards and reports.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 2+ years of experience, willingness to travel nationwide, and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program plus 2 years experience.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and scientific computing tools (Python, MATLAB, R) to process large datasets and generate visualizations.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide to support test events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for leadership briefings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rigorous statistical analysis on data from lab, flight, and field testing of ASE systems.
  • Evaluate performance of electro‑optical/infrared sensors, laser warning receivers, and countermeasures.
  • Travel to support testing and ensure robust data collection and pipelines.
  • Analyze and validate threat detection algorithms and tracking software using test data.
  • Develop dashboards and technical reports to communicate performance, anomalies, and risk to leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineers, test crews, software teams, and partners to implement data-driven improvements.
