Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Technician to support Starship facilities build and refurbishment across multiple sites in Texas. You will frame fences, decks, walls and floors, install and repair structures, perform earthwork, operate forklifts and other heavy equipment, and help with landscaping and utility projects.

Required 2+ years in residential/commercial/civil construction, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential, commercial, or civil construction experience.
• Ability to read basic schematics, drawings, and instructions.
• Safety training and operation of heavy equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Frame fences, stairs, decks, walls, floors, sheds, concrete forms, and other structures
• Construct and support various MEP projects
• Use equipment to perform earthwork, demo, clearing and cleaning
• Use hand and measurement tools and manual equipment (saws, squares, shovels, etc.)
• Support various landscaping projects
• Layout, installation, repair, finishing, maintaining various structures, fixtures and buildings
• Basic concrete work and repair on sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and patios
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and other heavy equipment
• Adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times
• Keep tools, materials and equipment in working condition
• Advise in the selection of building materials; requisitions building materials and supplies
• Transport various heavy materials in vehicles
