Job summary

The Boeing Company, through Spirit AeroSystems, Kansas team, seeks a Workplace Training Coach to deliver classroom and hands-on training in composite layup and manufacturing processes. You will coach employees, evaluate performance, and align training with operations while maintaining LMS records and promoting safety.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in aerospace composite layup and experience in training or mentoring manufacturing staff; familiarity with LMS is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in composite layup in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and hands-on training on composite layup, repair, and manufacturing processes.
  • Coach and mentor employees on composite fabrication techniques, quality requirements, standard work, and best practices.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide timely coaching and feedback.
  • Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements to training materials and delivery methods.
  • Identify remedial training needs and develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with production leadership, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering to align training with operational requirements.
  • Maintain employee training records in the LMS.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training processes and performance.
  • Promote a safe work environment and adherence to company policies.
