Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites, located in Utah, seeks a Composite Technician to perform lay-up, braiding and filament winding of composite materials in accordance with customer and company specifications. The role requires identifying materials, assisting in cutting and preparation, and supporting autoclave operations on an evening shift.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, and the company adheres to OFCCP guidelines. US Persons only; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Persons only; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Experience with lay-up, bonding, and autoclave processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify materials, prepregs, adhesives and resins.
• Assist with cutting and kitting materials.
• Complete lay-ups using measuring instruments per shop orders, blue prints or laser ply projector.
• Vacuum bag basic shapes and sizes.
• Assist in loading autoclaves and/or ovens with forklifts, cranes or handling carts.
