Hadrian is building autonomous factories in Los Angeles and seeks a Paint Engineer to own end-to-end industrialization of the coating line, from prep to cure, ensuring fire and life-safety compliance and customer-ready process capability. You will select equipment, define training matrices, and stand up a cross-functional team for successful launch.

Qualifications

• Hands-on aerospace/defense MRO coatings experience.
• Proven experience with NFPA 33/86/70/30/409 and OSHA 1910 in paint operations.
• Track record writing equipment specifications and running vendor selections.
• Experience training teams via train-the-trainer approach.

Responsibilities

• Own fire and life-safety compliance for the coating line.
• Lead specification, RFQ/evaluation, and acceptance testing for coating equipment.
• Define process windows and write work instructions for coating steps.
• Build and train the line's support team for post-launch ownership.
• Address yield and throughput issues during maturation.
