Job summary

Superior Thread Rolling Co. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for afternoon shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) in Los Angeles, CA. You will set up a variety of CNC machines, troubleshoot issues, edit programs, and ensure accurate dimensions per blueprints and planning sheets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' CNC machining experience.
• Ability to independently set up and run multiple machines.
• Experience troubleshooting machine issues.
• Ability to read and use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up cell machines, establish efficient tool strings, and efficiently manage production.
• Troubleshoot jobs in progress on machine when problems occur (tool life, tolerance, finish, program).
• Edit and adjust program at machine, save to CAD/CAM memory.
• Read blueprints and planning sheets to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, and machining methods.
• Mount, align, and secure tooling and workpiece; load programs; adjust machine controls to achieve spec.
