Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer for milling to support Advanced Integrated Manufacturing initiatives. You will develop CNC mill processes, write programs, and define tooling and workflows for precision aerospace components.

Expect hands-on production work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to mentor peers while optimizing cost and lead times. This role is onsite in Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of related experience, or an Associate with 6+ years, or 8+ years of proven work history.
• Proficiency in CNC Mill Machining and 3+ years in CNC programming using CAD/CAM software.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC Mill machining processes for new and legacy components.
• Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions meeting specs.
• Define operation sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements for precision parts.
• Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and collaborate to improve producibility.
• Lead continuous improvement and mentor junior engineers.
