Job summary

Essner Manufacturing in Ft. Worth, TX is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to run CNC Mills and Lathes on aerospace parts. You will maintain dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments and work in a growing company.

You should have 2+ years in industrial manufacturing, 3-5 axis mill experience, and familiarity with Mazak, Fadal, Okuma and Haas controllers. Join a team with competitive benefits, 401K, PTO, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Machine Operator.
• Experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis mills.
• Experience using Mazak, Fadal, Okuma, and Haas controllers.
• Experience using precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, radius gauges).
• Understand GD&T and machining implications.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills and Lathes to produce aerospace parts.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and work pieces on machines.
• Adjust machine feeds and speeds; change cutting tools as needed.
• Understand GD&T in relation to machining; insert basic programming edits when needed.
• Work in a team environment; report to Machine Shop Manager.
