Job summary

Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. in Kalkaska, Michigan is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Quality team. You will perform in-house calibrations of gauges and measurement tools and coordinate external calibration services to optimize costs across facilities.

The role supports AS9100 and NADCAP compliance, ISO 17025/9001 standards, Gage R&Rs/MSAs, and audits. You will analyze data, train colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent; Associate/technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in precision or aerospace manufacturing.
• Direct AS9100 and NADCAP audit experience.
• Experience with calibration management software (e.g., GagePack) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001; familiarity with Keyence equipment is a plus.
• Math and analytical skills with statistics, fractions, ratios, and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house calibrations of gauges and measurement tools.
• Coordinate external calibration services and manage vendor quotes/costs.
• Execute Gage R&Rs/MSAs and capability studies for PPAP/APQP.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits (AS9100/NADCAP).
• Assist with Keyence program validations and quality inspections.
• Collect and report data to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.
• Train team members on calibration and quality procedures.
