Job summary

The First Electronics Corporation (FEC) in Chelsea, Massachusetts is seeking a Testing Technician to support the Quality Control Department. You will conduct visual and electrical tests on cable products, read blueprints, and document results to ensure compliance with standards and ITAR requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in quality control, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ year of experience in quality control.
Experience performing electrical and functional testing is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient with computers and comfortable using MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Conduct visual and electrical tests on cable and wire products to ensure they meet performance requirements.
Perform functional tests on cable and wire products to ensure proper operation.
Document test results and maintain internal records.
Detect and report non-conforming documentation, materials, or products to Quality Manager.
Coordinate with colleagues to resolve quality issues and comply with policies.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S principles.
Troubleshoot nonconforming cables and file nonconformance reports as needed.
