Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) in Salt Lake City designs and procures advanced composite components for aerospace programs. The Buyer leads tactical procurement, orders parts, and manages supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and contract compliance.

Day shift, 1–3 years experience, MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel, SAP experience preferred. Visa sponsorship is not offered; US Persons required. Benefits include top-tier plans and a strong work/life balance.

Qualifications

1–3 years of directly related experience.
MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency.
Knowledge of Contract Law and procurement regulations.
SAP experience is highly desirable.
FAR/DFAR experience is highly desirable.
Previous aerospace procurement experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Purchase of parts, components, and materials for production or projects.
Support procurement processes and ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
Maintain supplier relationships and update supplier databases.
Follow established procurement policies and procedures.
Tactical execution and management of multiple parts/suppliers/commodities.
Prepare proposals for quotes and issue purchase orders.
Manage execution of purchase orders and material availability across parts and commodities.
