Electronic Assembler - Aerospace Bench Technician
Location: Jenks, OK
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Must-Have Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of electronic or electromechanical experience preferred
- Aviation Technology program graduates considered
- Soldering experience
- Experience with electronic board repair and assembly/disassembly of mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals and maintenance documentation
- Ability to use industry-standard electronic test equipment
- Basic math skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass requirements for a DOT/FAA safety-sensitive position
Position Summary
The Electronic Assembler - Aerospace Bench Technician performs component-level troubleshooting, testing, repair, and reassembly of complex aviation electronic and electromechanical components. This position requires strong soldering skills, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with electronic and mechanical components. The technician will work with specialized test equipment to diagnose and repair aviation components to established specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Read and follow maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical documentation
- Perform soldering and electronic board repair
- Test aviation electronic and electromechanical components
- Troubleshoot component-level electrical and electronic issues
- Disassemble components for inspection and repair
- Inspect components for defects, damage, and wear
- Repair and replace electronic and mechanical components as required
- Reassemble components following technical specifications
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters, and other electronic test equipment
- Learn and properly utilize specialized test equipment
- Maintain accurate and organized work practices
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, electronics, or electromechanical repair preferred
- Aviation Technology training is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot practical problems
- Ability to follow written, verbal, diagrammed, and scheduled instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend and squat
- Frequently use hands for handling, assembly, and precision work
- Reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and move up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to perform close and detailed visual work
- Ability to distinguish colors and maintain depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus when working with small components
