Job summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Aerospace Avionics Technician with 4+ years of install experience to perform electrical modifications on aircraft wiring and assemblies.

The role requires fabricating wire bundles, routing without a harness, and interpreting engineering drawings. Candidates must handle rotating shifts, lift up to 35 pounds, and travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience fabricating wire bundles and routing without a harness.
• Experience with electrical/electronic theories and systems sufficient to perform duties.
• Ability to fabricate new wire bundles and route on airplanes without existing wiring.
• Able to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd or 3rd).
• Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.

Responsibilities

• Performs on/off aircraft electrical modification to wiring and system components.
• Perform complex connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables and fiber optic wiring.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders and retrofit requirements.
• Adhere to safety procedures and perform quality checks on wire bundles and electrical assemblies.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft electrical and environmental systems.
