Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Technician in Centennial, CO for contract-to-hire employment. You will assemble turbine engine components to exact specifications and support build and testing activities in a regulated aerospace environment.

Requirements include at least 3 years of mechanical assembly experience, blueprints/schematics proficiency, and eligibility for a security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Onsite role with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience performing quality inspections and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Assemble turbine engine components and subassemblies per engineering specs and work instructions.
• Install fittings, hardware, brackets, tubing, fasteners to exact standards.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Use torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment for assembly tasks.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify aerospace-grade quality.
• Support engine build and testing activities as required.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and participate in root-cause corrective actions.
• Maintain production records and labor tracking logs.
