Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a production assembler and solderer for aerospace components in Wichita, KS. The role includes assembling, soldering, inspecting, packaging, and supporting process improvements; J-STD certification is a plus.

You'll work with bench-top equipment, test gear, hand tools and computers, read blueprints, and learn through OJT or off-site training. Two years of prior manufacturing experience and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience in Production/Manufacturing.
• Experience in Aircraft Instruments or Electronics manufacturing desirable.
• Blueprint and work instruction reading experience required.
• Ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and solder actuator parts and related aerospace components.
• Perform soldering on boards; follow quality and safety standards.
• Inspect, package and transfer parts as required.
• Learn and use bench-top equipment, test gear, and computers.
• Participate in meetings to determine work priorities and process improvements.
• Adhere to company policies and attend training for personal development.
