Job summary

Tessera is seeking a Softline Operator I in Auburn, WA to perform simple aerospace assembly tasks. You will follow drawings and instructions to build components, using drilling, riveting or bonding as required and to ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic SPC knowledge, and familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100D. You will work in a manufacturing environment with protective equipment and safety practices in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade schooling preferred.
• Basic understanding of shop routers and SPC concepts.
• Familiarity with ISO9001:2015/AS9100D is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and visual specs.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly on simple production aerospace parts following drawings and instructions.
• Attaches parts by drilling, riveting, or bonding per specifications.
• Ensures quality by verifying assemblies and reporting defects.
• Maintains measurement accuracy using calipers, micrometers and torque wrenches.
