Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, Rhode Island, is seeking an Assembly & Bonding Technician (1st Shift) to perform assembly, bonding, testing and screening of parts. The role requires reading blueprints, dexterity with small hand tools, and strict adherence to specifications in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

You will work with epoxy and resin bonding processes, complete accurate paperwork, and maintain quality through measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Dexterity with small hand tools for parts with tight tolerances.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to manage priorities and understand production demands.
• Comfortable with technical issues and applying prior technical experience to solve problems.
• Reliable and able to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and perform bonding, testing and screening in line with specifications.
• Use small hand tools as required by the job.
• Follow work instructions to perform assemblies.
• Work in an environment with odors from plastic epoxies and resins used in bonding.
• Complete paperwork thoroughly and neatly.
• Inspect finished work for conformance using measuring equipment.
• Seek opportunities to develop new skills within the department and beyond.
• Assist Production in other duties as needed.
