Job summary

Vertical Mag is seeking an Aircraft Painter to prepare, apply, and finish aircraft surfaces to meet customer specifications and quality standards. You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while delivering polished, professional results.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years of aircraft painting experience, ability to interpret mechanical drawings, and basic PC skills to access manuals and IPCs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of aircraft painting experience.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function evaluation for respirator certification.
• Customer service and aviation work experience.
• Basic knowledge of regulations dealing with transportation of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting and finishing.
• Apply primer, topcoat and final spray.
• Polish painted surfaces to a finished appearance.
• Inspect, touch-up and polish surfaces; install sealant and erosion tape.
• Layout aircraft to customer specifications.
