PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an Aircraft Assembly Technician for a 6-month contract in San Antonio, TX. You will assemble major aircraft components, including wing structures, plumbing, and electrical systems, following detailed work instructions.

The role requires 1+ year experience with power tools, ability to read engineering drawings, and flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts. Pay is $45.18/hour with comprehensive safety and quality standards in a fast-paced aerospace setting.

Formación

• 1 year minimum experience using handheld power tools in a professional, military, technical, or manufacturing environment.
• 1 year minimum experience following oral and written instructions.
• Ability and willingness to work variable shifts, including 1st or 2nd shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production environment.
• Reliable attendance and dependability.

Responsabilidades

• Read, interpret, and follow technical work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Assemble and install aircraft parts, structural components, and subassemblies.
• Support the build and attachment of major wing assemblies.
• Perform sealing, plumbing, and electrical component installation activities.
• Work on both composite and metal aircraft structures.
• Utilize tools and equipment including drills, riveting tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools.
• Apply lubricants, adhesives, sealants, primers, coatings, paints, and finishes.
• Inspect completed work for quality and FOD compliance.
• Operate mechanical lifts, scissor lifts, and elevated work platforms.
• Access and use computerized production systems and electronic work instructions.
