Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking an AFP Maintenance Operator for our Briggs, TX facility. This onsite role supports a rocket production program, performing preventive maintenance and rapid repairs on AFP/ATL systems to ensure production uptime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial CNC machinery, incl. mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work shift schedules, overtime, and weekends as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on AFP heads, creels, tow delivery paths, cutters, compaction rollers, and heating systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults on AFP/ATL equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose CNC and PLC control faults and support recovery of machine axes, spindles, and head functions.
• Calibrate and verify machine accuracy, tow placement, and head alignment using inspection tools and diagnostics.
• Monitor machine health data and support predictive maintenance programs to improve availability.
