Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking an Responsible Engineer for aeroelastic analysis and for the design, execution, and analysis of static and dynamic tests to verify structural strength and dynamic characteristics of unmanned aircraft platforms.

You will own structural-dynamic models, plan tests, and ensure correlation between predictions and measurements across the product development cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–8 years in aircraft structural dynamics, aeroelasticity, flutter, or modal testing.
• Experience correlating test results with finite-element models.
• Proficiency with FEM tools (MSC Nastran or equivalent).
• Experience with MATLAB or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Own aeroelastic finite-element models from concept through flight clearance.
• Perform normal-modes, static aeroelastic, flutter, and loads analyses.
• Develop test plans and load schedules for aeroelastic verification.
• Design and operate structural instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Prepare documentation for airworthiness and customer review.
