Job summary

Agilis Engineering, Inc. is seeking Aerodynamics/Performance Engineer(s) at all experience levels to drive aerodynamic and performance solutions alongside mechanical and structural design.

Positions are available in San Diego, CA and other locations, with hybrid/onsite options. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and strong skills in analytical tools, data analysis, and communicating complex results to customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering methods, tools and procedures.
• Ability to perform analyses using hand calculations, spreadsheets and other software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic and performance analyses in a complete and timely manner.
• Prepare analytical reports per Agilis QMS requirements.
• Create or modify tools as needed.
• Maintain proficiency with Agilis analysis tools and customer tools.
• Discuss analytical issues with customers using sketches and plots.
• Document analyses clearly and archive data properly.
• Collaborate in a team and participate in customer reviews.
• Provide in-house mentoring on techniques and tools.
• Perform other tasks as required.
