Job summary

RTX Technology Research Center is seeking a capable technician for mechanical assembly and test facility operations in East Hartford. You will assemble test rigs, install facility services, and support aero-thermodynamic experiments with instrumentation and data acquisition.

The role requires a 4+ year hands-on background, the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, and adherence to safety rules. Onsite work with a strong team supports RTX’s advanced aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in test facilities or similar hands-on environments.
• Experience in test facility operations and maintenance, flight line maintenance, or related hands-on roles.
• U.S. Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install test rigs and facility services (pneumatic/hydraulic systems).
• Operate and maintain test facilities and instrumentation.
• Support aero-thermodynamic testing and data collection; follow test procedures.
