This role involves analyzing critical load cases, performing static and vibration analysis on structures, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards. Qualifications

  • BS in relevant field with 5+ years of experience or Advanced Degree.
  • Experience with mechanical/structural design and analysis.
  • Must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop critical load cases.
  • Perform analysis of metallic and composite structures.
  • Develop and test aero-structural designs.

Skills

Static, stability, and vibration analysis
Mechanical/structural design and analysis
FEMAP/Nastran
CAD tools such as Catia V5
Writing and communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Composites Engineering with 5 years of experience
