Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is offering a fast-paced internship that partners with cross-functional teams across product management, engineering and marketing to position aeroderivative gas turbine packages for data centers, utilities and municipalities.

You will learn turbine performance details, collect content from technical and marketing contributors, and convert it into sales-friendly formats while supporting the sales content management systems and knowledge repository.

Qualifications

• Enrolled university or college student pursuing engineering, science, business or related degree, returning to school after internship.
• GPA minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (US).
• Prior work experience demonstrating work ethic and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product champions and sales to identify collateral needs for early customer engagements.
• Learn technical performance details of aeroderivative gas turbines and how they create value for power products.
• Coordinate with technical and marketing contributors to convert content into sales-friendly formats.
• Learn sales content management systems and how to access the content repository.
• Learn the full range of Aeroderivative turbine offerings and ensure content is available for all product lines.
• Participate in business processes for solution selling Aeroderivative technology.

Job Description Summary

This is a fast paced, customer focused internship working with cross-functional teams such as product management, product champions, engineering, and marketing. We are using Lean methodology to streamline how we position aeroderivative gas turbine packages for datacenters, utilities and municipalities. This effort will support our global sales team and commercial teams

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Work with product champions and sales teams to understand what collateral the commercial team needs in order to better position our Aeroderivative gas turbines products in early customer engagements
• Understand and learn the technical details of the performance of a gas turbine and how that is used to create value for a power generation product
• Work with technical and marketing content contributors across the business to collect all applicable content and convert it into sales friendly format
• Learn the sales content management systems and knowledge repository to help commercial team more effectively access the content
• Learn the full slate of Aeroderivative gas turbine offerings and ensure the content is available for all product lines.
• Learn and participate in business commercial processes in solution selling Aeroderivative technology to its customer

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications):

• Currently enrolled university or college student pursuing an engineering, science, business, or related degree, with the expectation of returning to school following the internship.
• Previous work experience, regardless of industry (e.g., retail, food service, manufacturing, customer service, campus employment, or other part-time roles), demonstrating work ethic, accountability, and professionalism
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship, both currently and in the future

Desired Characteristics:

• Demonstrated academic excellence, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 (without rounding in the U.S.).

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
