The successful candidate will also develop scripts for model input/output generation and contribute to special projects as directed.

Responsibilities

• Support air quality dispersion modeling projects using regulatory guideline models such as AERMOD.
• Generate model input data and perform self-QA prior to submission.
• Review model output data for errors and reasonableness.
• Research federal and state air quality modeling guidance as directed.
• Develop and maintain scripts to facilitate generation of model inputs and outputs.
• Generation of professional figures, tables, and technical analyses.
• Special projects as directed.
