Job summary

Sacramento Executive Helicopters DBA of Wilson Utility Helicopters in Acampo, CA seeks a Helicopter Chief Pilot to lead flight operations, ensure FAA Part 135 compliance, and promote safety and operational excellence across utility patrol, external load, and project flights. The role oversees pilots, schedules, maintenance liaison, and regulatory inspections, supervising training and developing the team.

A minimum 5 years PIC and 3,000 PIC hours with Part 135 experience preferred; bachelor's

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a helicopter pilot, 3 years in Part 135 operations
• Minimum 3,000 hours PIC
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience in aviation
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pilot team, ensuring adherence to FAA regulations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to pilots
• Develop and oversee training programs for pilots
• Promote professional development and mentorship within the pilot group
