Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking an Aerial Lineman (Local Work) in Cameron, WI to build and maintain aerial telephone systems and assist in upgrading services. The role requires outdoor work, the ability to travel for outages, and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as an Aerial Groundman.
• Thorough understanding of aerial utility installation, safety regulations and work methods.
• Knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials and safe use of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and initiating projects.
• Interaction with customers, utility owners and governmental officials.
• Establishing and conforming to OSHA and customer safety requirements.
• Assist in the construction of new aerial and underground services and service upgrades.
• Training and mentoring of Aerial Groundman.
• Tree trimming or route clearing.
• Use and maintenance of specialized hand tools and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Digger and Bucket Truck.
