Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Lineman II Telecom in Rahway, NJ. You will install and repair fiber/telecom lines, ensuring safety and reliability while supporting travel for storm response when needed.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ Lineman experience, a valid CDL or willingness to obtain it, and a valid state driver’s license. A high school diploma or GED is required, with on-site work and strong safety practices emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant Lineman experience.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned
