Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is hiring an Aerial Lineman to support overhead RF and fiber construction and maintenance. The role involves climbing poles or operating a bucket truck, reading schematics, and tackling field issues with a hands-on approach.

Qualified candidates have a strong safety record, enjoy solving problems, and are seeking long-term projects. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as an aerial lineman in overhead construction or repair.
• Ability to climb poles and operate a bucket truck.
• Familiarity with safety standards and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

As an Aerial Lineman, you will support overhead construction and repair of RF and fiber service. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Climb poles or use a bucket truck to perform installation, relocation, and maintenance of aerial plants
• Read and understand schematics and construction prints
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety is a part of your day-to-day
• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
• You are looking for long-term projects
• You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
• You are an experienced Lineman with extensive knowledge of all equipment needed for aerial work
• You are comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles
• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT med card for driving purposes (CDL preferred; applicants are subject to an MVR review, and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)

Compensation of $25-$29 per hour.
