Job summary

CCU, LLC is seeking an Aerial Lineman for full-time, in-person work. You will install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems and operate bucket trucks in various environments.

Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, inspecting lines with voltmeters, and working with low and high voltage systems while following strict safety protocols. Relocation to Tallahassee, FL is required.

Qualifications

Position: Aerial Lineman

Pay Rate & Details: Wage Production/Commission

Job Type: Full-time

The Lineman plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems. This position requires a skilled individual who is comfortable working with both low and high voltage systems. The Lineperson will work in various environments, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical lines.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.


• Operate bucket truck.


• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks related to line construction and maintenance.


• Conduct inspections of electrical lines using voltmeters to ensure proper functionality.


• Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering to safety protocols at all times.


• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.


• Respond promptly to outages or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.


• Experience operating bucket trucks.


• Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.


• Valid driver's license; additional certifications related to electrical work are a plus.


• Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights as required by job duties.


• Previous experience in a similar role; willingness to learn is essential.
