Job summary

REACH, a Global Medical Response air medical transport team, is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our Kona, Hawaii operations. You will provide advanced life support and critical care during transport, coordinate with pilots and ground crews, and ensure accurate patient care records.

Candidates must have EMT-P and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, FP-C within 24 months, and be prepared for shift-based aviation routines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in 911 or critical care settings
• EMT-P license and required certifications listed in job posting
• FP-C within 24 months and instructor certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight on time
• Perform daily base checks and narcotics count
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to transfer
• Maintain competency via ongoing labs and clinical experiences
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in Education Manual
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies for emergency programs
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and public
• Participate in pre-mission briefings/debriefings and document properly
• Assist in liftoff checklist and pilot assistance as needed
• Adhere to safety standards before liftoff
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed
• Fill open or vacant shifts as directed by Regional Director
