Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking an Aeration Specialist to diagnose and treat lawn issues on client properties in the community. You will work outdoors, evaluating needs and applying tailored blends to improve lawn health.

Responsibilities include explaining treatments to clients, working independently in the field, and maintaining safety and quality standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Ability to run various types of equipment.
• 1–2 years hands-on lawn care/turf application experience.
• Independent and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent listening and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

The Aeration Specialist team are the reason our customers brag about their thick, green, lush lawns. Specialists provide organic, hybrid, integrated, and all-nutrient lawn care services, as well as seeding and aeration services. As subject matter advisers in all things lawn, they use their expertise to perform soil analysis, and control insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds.

In this role you will have you will have the opportunity to work outside on beautiful properties in your community, spending extensive field time diagnosing problems and treating properties. You’ll apply your expertise to ensure the health and well-being of each client’s landscape.

What a day is like:

In this position you will be using your specialized training in diagnosing and treating diseases and/or infestations that are occurring on a client’s lawn. You’ll be able to work independently, allowing you to choose the proper product or customized blend application to be utilized in treating various lawn problems. This role will also give you the opportunity to communicate with clients by providing them with comprehensive information about their lawns. You’ll “own” your territory and will be proud of the lawns and properties you care for.

What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with:

• A desire to grow, craves opportunity, loves problem solving and process improvement


• The ability to run various types of equipment, who enjoys heavy lifting in various weather conditions


• A Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience


• 1-2 years of hands on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application


• The responsibility and independence to work autonomously


• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs


• Valid driver's license, CDL a plus


• The appropriate Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator's License(s), or the ability to obtain one

This role pays $23-$25 an hour plus a $1,000.00 Sign On Bonus!
