Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an AEO Specialist to own search strategy for a diverse book of B2B clients. You will shepherd the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative in client conversations.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and AI-assisted drafting with writers, while coordinating with teams on local and multi-location SEO. Strong communication with US clients on live calls is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO; you have run audits and implemented fixes.
• Fluency with GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients concurrently.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO roadmap: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
