Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) in Prestonsburg, KY for full-time, 24-hour shift opportunities. You will respond to emergencies, assess patients, deliver emergency care and maintain high-quality customer service in fast-paced settings.

Required are a State AEMT License, BLS, NREMT and a valid driver's license; a clean driving record and physical agility test are also needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State AEMT license required.
• State driver’s license required.
• Current BLS certification (or equivalent).
• NREMT certification preferred.
• Must have a passing physical agility test.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and transport to patients.
• Assess patients and determine necessary treatment.
• Document patient information with confidentiality.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and stocked environment.
• Operate ambulance per company policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
